During the base game, collected symbols build a supply of wilds over ten spins, up to twenty collected symbols. The tenth result places the accumulated wilds on the reels before evaluating its awards. The number collected is a quantity of wild symbols, not a multiplier on all your earlier wins.

Imagine the display reaches spin nine with six collected symbols. That display does not award six times the stake, and it does not promise six paying combinations on the next result. A wild still needs to help form a qualifying route across the stopped reels. Its position and the other symbols determine whether it contributes to an award.
