Cadillac Jack legacy games and AGS ownership context

Cadillac Jack is a legacy North American gaming supplier acquired by AGS in 2015. AGS says the purchase strengthened its Class II and Mexico operations and added an experienced research-and-development team supporting expansion into Class III gaming.

Legend of the White Buffalo
A Cadillac Jack Power XStream title with an unusual 3-4-4-4-3 reel arrangement and 576 advertised ways to win. Exact rules differ by cabinet or digital build, so use the active help screen.
From Cadillac Jack to today’s AGS
AGS began with a Class II focus and used acquisitions to broaden its game-development and technology capabilities. Its current portfolio spans Class II, Class III and historical horse-racing slots, table products, shufflers and real-money online content.

Brightstar’s completed-acquisition announcement calls AGS a global full-service gaming supplier and confirms that it became privately held. That transaction changes the owner of AGS, not the original studio credit attached to older Cadillac Jack games.
Why game format matters
Class II and Class III are not interchangeable
Games can use similar artwork while operating under different underlying rules and regulatory models. A cabinet name alone does not establish the exact mathematics.
Land-based and online builds can differ
A North American machine may later receive a digital version with different stake options, return settings or features. Identify the platform before comparing data.
Legacy studio and current supplier are separate credits
Cadillac Jack describes historical authorship; AGS supplies current corporate and product context. Both can be accurate when their roles are stated.
UK access needs independent confirmation
US approvals, trademark ownership and AGS catalogue reach do not prove Great Britain availability. Check the licensed operator and exact online build.
