How Cashzuma works

Cashzuma and the Tomb of Wonga is the full title shown on the original screenshot. Its four symbol positions on each of six reels produce 4 × 4 × 4 × 4 × 4 × 4 = 4,096 possible ways. These are combinations across reels, not 4,096 drawn paylines. Matching symbols normally need to start on reel one and continue across at least three consecutive reels. The top Cashzuma symbol is the exception, paying from two consecutive reels.

Multiple copies can create more than one winning way. For instance, two matching symbols on the first reel, one on the second and three on the third make six three-reel combinations, provided that symbol qualifies and the combination does not extend further. Their positions within each reel do not have to follow a marked line. Winning symbols then disappear, leaving room for a cascade of replacements.

Three or more bonus scatters open the Tomb of Wonga choice. The number of triggering scatters sets the initial award, and the selected mode changes what happens during those spins. Multiplying Spirits follows a multiplier trail; Lunar Wild Eclipse preserves special wilds on reels three and four. Ordinary wilds and the Lunar wilds have different persistence rules, so a wild used in a winning combination is not automatically held for the whole feature.

Lunar Wild Eclipse: persistent does not mean motionless

This choice begins with twelve, eighteen or twenty-four free spins for the same three, four or five-plus scatter triggers. Lunar wilds can land on reels three and four and remain through the feature, including when used in a win. The published feature rules explain that they drop to the lowest available empty position after other symbols disappear and at the start of a new free spin. Their reel remains the same, but their row can change.

That movement distinguishes them from a wild permanently fixed in one square. As more arrive, they can build up on the two middle reels. They still cannot replace bonus scatters. Choosing Lunar Wild Eclipse changes the feature from following a multiplier trail to following the surviving wilds and the space around them.

Initial awards and extra spins

Both modes can award additional spins: two scatters give five more, three give ten, and four or more give fifteen. Twenty-four is therefore the largest initial Lunar award in these rules, not a limit reached only after retriggering. The extra spins extend the chosen feature. More starting spins do not, by themselves, establish that one choice has a higher expected return or makes a session safer.

RTP, coin prizes and stake multipliers

The English rules headed Cashzuma 50M state 96.11% RTP and a maximum single-spin payout capped at 25,000 times the stake. Those figures belong to that configuration. Other published rules describe different settings, so the title alone does not identify the mathematical version. A coin prize cannot be divided by a pound stake without first converting the coins into pounds. A wild staying on reel three can still change its row after other symbols disappear. The useful question is where it now connects qualifying symbols from the leftmost reel.

The initial spin awards differ between the modes, but that count is not a published expected-value comparison. Ten spins using one rule and twelve using another cannot be ranked simply by subtracting the totals. The rule being applied to each result, additional-spin awards and actual symbol distribution all matter. The choice determines the feature format; it does not choose the symbols that will land.

A ways result can include several combinations

Consider an illustrative qualifying symbol with two copies on reel one, one on reel two and three on reel three. That produces 2 × 1 × 3 = six combinations through the first three reels. If the symbol extends onto another consecutive reel, its longer eligible combination must be read under the paytable rather than counting the shorter prefix again as an extra award.

A different eligible symbol can also pay on that same board. Imagine the screen pays £2 for one symbol group and £3 for another, then removes their winning symbols together. Those amounts total £5 before any applicable feature multiplier. At an illustrative displayed 4x multiplier, that is £20. The two prize groups still belong to one replacement event, rather than advancing the trail twice merely because two symbol types paid.

The replacements may create another paying evaluation within the same spin. That is a further cascade, while the remaining-spin counter measures a different process. Locate the current displayed multiplier before valuing the new result. This example explains the units and event counts; it is not a record of a Cashzuma round or a guarantee that two qualifying groups will occur.

The retained screenshot carries the full Cashzuma and the Tomb of Wonga title. Six equal-height columns and four rows identify the regular 4,096-way board, rather than a tapered payline display. The + and − controls beside Total Stake change the wager; the Total Win field below the board reports a result. Neither is the multiplier trail.

The screenshot is a base-game view with gem and letter symbols. It does not show a completed pair of Lunar wild reels or certify how a particular bonus ends.
