Cat Wilde Slots: Five Adventures and Their Bonus Rules

Cat Wilde is Play’n GO’s explorer and Rich Wilde’s daughter. Her five solo adventures use different bonus structures: expanding symbols, cascade multipliers, Pyramid Spins, fixed-prize urns and falling wilds. This comparison follows those rules, so the shared character and ancient settings do not hide the differences between the games. The wider archive includes Play’n GO, our Rich Wilde family guide.

All five Cat Wilde games at a glance
Five solo adventures compared; historical return references below are not universal settings:
| Game | Year | Layout | RTP | Max win |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cat Wilde and the Doom of Dead | 2020 | 5×3, 10 paylines | 96.29% | Read installed cap |
| Cat Wilde in the Eclipse of the Sun God | 2021 | 5×3, 20 paylines, cascading | 96.22% | Read installed cap |
| Cat Wilde and the Lost Chapter | 2022 | 5×3, 10 paylines | 96.20% | Read installed cap |
| Cat Wilde and the Pyramids of Dead | 2022 | 5×3, 10 paylines | 96.20% | 10,000x |
| Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest | 2024 | 5×3, 10 paylines | 96.20% | Up to 10,000x Mega award in supplier rules |
The return references are historical settings; compare each game using its own installed help and configuration. Pyramids of Dead’s supplier announcement specifies up to 10,000x total bet; Incan Quest’s supplier rules describe a 10,000x Mega row award. Those are supported exact-title statements. A reviewer consensus or an unexplained larger operator number cannot replace a defined prize unit, and the same return setting should not be assumed across all installations.

Every game, reviewed
1. Cat Wilde and the Doom of Dead (2020)
Doom of Dead launched on 25 June 2020 after Cat’s appearance with Rich in Shield of Athena. Its five-reel Egyptian setting contains expanding wilds that can cover a reel. Three compass scatters on reels one, three and five award ten free spins, with further compass triggers extending them. Before the feature, the compass chooses a paying symbol. When that special symbol participates in a qualifying win, it expands to cover its reel. This is a symbol chosen for the sequence, distinct from an ordinary expanding wild appearing independently on the board.
2. Cat Wilde in the Eclipse of the Sun God (2021)
Eclipse of the Sun God launched on 4 February 2021 and takes Cat to an Aztec pyramid in Mexico. Winning symbols cascade away, with a base ladder of 1x, 2x, 4x, 6x and 10x across the sequence. Three Moon Goddess scatters start ten free spins. Within the bonus, collected scatters also advance a separate counter: five collected scatters add five spins and raise the ladder’s scale. This is not just Doom of Dead with a new setting. It changes the post-win board and introduces two kinds of progress to follow, the current cascade step and the accumulated scatter count.
3. Cat Wilde and the Lost Chapter (2022)
Lost Chapter launched on 10 February 2022 and follows Cat’s search for missing Book of Dead pages. Its Pyramid Spins select a symbol anew on each spin, while two or more scatters unlock expanding symbols. That differs from choosing one special symbol for the whole Doom of Dead feature. The meaningful comparison is the lifetime of the selection: sequence-long in Doom, spin-specific in Pyramid Spins. A familiar Egyptian symbol can therefore perform a different role in the two titles, even though the story reconnects Cat with her father’s book.
4. Cat Wilde and the Pyramids of Dead (2022)
Pyramids of Dead launched on 23 June 2022 and separates three scatter-led features: Instant Prize, Free Spins and a fixed-jackpot urn round. Three, four or five free-spin scatters award eight, ten or fifteen spins. In the jackpot round, twelve urns reveal spirits; collecting three matching spirits completes the corresponding award. These are fixed prizes, not a growing progressive pool. Pharaoh characters connect it with Rise of Dead and Lost Chapter, but the matching-urn counter is its own mechanic, distinct from the expanding symbols used elsewhere in the Dead series.
5. Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest (2024)
Incan Quest launched on 8 February 2024 with five-by-three reels and ten lines. A wild on one of the middle three reels starts respins and moves down one position each time. Another wild on the same reel expands them across that reel; in free spins, falling wilds expand without needing that second wild. A separate gem collector starts a held-symbol feature with three spins. New gems stick and reset that counter. Filling one, two or three rows gives Minor, Major or Mega respectively, with the supplier describing up to 10,000x for Mega. Moving wilds and held gems therefore describe two different bonus states.

Her relationship to Rich Wilde
Play’n GO identifies Cat as Rich Wilde’s daughter and says she first appeared alongside him in Shield of Athena. Her own stories then follow a solo explorer through Egypt, Mexico and Peru. Lost Chapter’s missing Book of Dead pages provide the most direct narrative connection; Pyramids brings back pharaoh characters through its urn round. The Rich Wilde family is useful for that context, but a shared fictional universe does not make the free-spin triggers or symbol behaviour interchangeable.
Cat Wilde and other Play’n GO adventures
The five solo titles above are the scope of this comparison. Rich Wilde’s Book of Dead is the closer comparison for an Egyptian expanding-symbol feature; Eclipse is the more useful Cat title for cascades and a changing ladder. Play’n GO’s Merlin games instead have their own named character and rules. A title or catalogue mention needs a matching supplier listing before it can be treated as another Cat adventure. Artwork and a publisher alone are insufficient to establish a sequel.

Return figures and the counters inside a bonus
Theoretical expected loss per £100 wagered at the historical reference settings:
| Game | House edge | Per £100 wagered |
|---|---|---|
| Doom of Dead (96.29%) | 3.71% | £3.71 |
| Eclipse of the Sun God (96.22%) | 3.78% | £3.78 |
| Lost Chapter / Pyramids of Dead (96.20%) | 3.80% | £3.80 |
| Incan Quest (96.20%) | 3.80% | £3.80 |
Expected loss is calculated on total wagers, not a prediction for a session.
At a 96.20% setting, £100 of wagers has a theoretical expected loss of £3.80. At 96.29%, it is £3.71, a difference of 9p per £100 of turnover. This does not predict the next hundred spins, a longer session or the chance of an urn or gem feature. The feature rules create much larger visible differences than these small reference-percentage gaps. Session limits and support are on the Responsible Gambling page.
Compare the lifetime of a symbol and a counter
Imagine a special symbol selected for an entire bonus. Its identity stays fixed while spins run down, so repeated appearances refer to the same choice. Selecting anew on every spin changes that interpretation: yesterday’s selection is not today’s. Doom of Dead and Lost Chapter illustrate those two designs. Neither means that a chosen symbol is guaranteed to appear or to make a qualifying win.
For Eclipse, the ladder step and the scatter counter answer separate questions. A hypothetical £2 qualifying win at 4x would pay £8. The collected-scatter counter determines when the spin award and overall ladder scale advance; it is not simply another £ amount to add to the line prize. Read the stage and current multiplier together before comparing two screenshots from different moments in the feature.
In Incan Quest’s held-gem round, a three-spin counter moving down to two does not move a gem already held in position. A new gem restores the counter while enlarging the occupied area. In the falling-wild route, the wild itself changes position as respins continue. One retains a position while refilling time; the other moves a symbol through time. That is a practical difference a shared explorer portrait cannot explain.
History and legacy
Play’n GO introduced Cat as Rich Wilde’s daughter in 2020. Her adventures range through Egypt, Mexico and Peru, with Lost Chapter reconnecting her story to the Book of Dead and Pyramids using pharaoh spirits in a fixed-prize urn round. The story supplies continuity while the games change selection, cascade and collection rules. Eclipse’s Mexican expedition predates the 2022 Egyptian adventures; the catalogue should not be described as a simple chronological move away from Egypt.
Why this family still matters
The family’s continuity is its explorer and story; its variety lies in the rule that persists. Doom keeps a selected symbol, Eclipse tracks cascades and scatters, Pyramids matches spirits, and Incan Quest moves wilds or holds gems. Read those states rather than assuming each new expedition is simply the earlier title with a larger maximum.
Beyond the reels
The games belong to Play’n GO’s Wilde universe alongside the Rich Wilde family. Supplier attribution is separate from a casino’s licence, available title and installed return. The Gambling Commission provides the regulatory starting point; a historical list of casino names does not confirm that all five titles are currently offered at each one.
Choose by the feature you want to follow
Doom of Dead gives the closest reference for a sequence-long expanding-symbol selection. Choose Eclipse as the comparison for cascades, Lost Chapter for a fresh per-spin selection, Pyramids for matching fixed-prize spirits, and Incan Quest for moving wilds alongside a separate held-gem round. These are specific differences within one character’s catalogue. Reactoonz is a different Play’n GO grid game; its creature imagery and cluster logic should not be presented as another Cat Wilde edition.
Win potential
Pyramids’ 10,000x total-bet ceiling and Incan Quest’s up-to-10,000x Mega award are supplier-described facts for those games. They do not prove a clean doubling across every intervening release, and a fixed prize tier is not a progressive jackpot. A maximum statement must identify its unit and configuration. This guide does not use an unverified player win to decide which adventure has the more useful feature design.
The best Cat Wilde slot for every kind of explorer
| If you want… | Play | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Cat’s solo debut, straight from her father’s world | Doom of Dead | A familiar Egyptian setting, her first game without Rich Wilde |
| The most direct link back to Book of Dead | Lost Chapter | Cat literally hunts the missing chapter of her father’s book |
| Fixed-jackpot urn feature | Pyramids of Dead | Three matching spirits complete a fixed award |
| The newest mechanics | Incan Quest | Falling Wilds Re-Spins and a tiered Hold-and-Spin bonus game |
Our verdict on Cat Wilde
Editorial assessment: Cat’s adventures are worth comparing by the state retained during a bonus, alongside their connected stories.
| Features | Selected symbols, cascade ladders, urn matches and falling wilds are distinct rules |
|---|---|
| Win potential | Exact-title maximums and fixed prize tiers need their stated stake unit |
| Design | Egypt, Mexico and Peru provide narrative variety, not return guarantees |
| Playability | A counter, a held position and a moving wild must be read separately |
Start with the feature distinction, then check the exact configuration. The Rich Wilde guide explains the wider fictional connection; it does not replace the individual Cat rules.
Cat Wilde FAQs
Who is Cat Wilde?
Rich Wilde’s daughter, a Play’n GO explorer character who first appeared alongside him in Rich Wilde and the Shield of Athena before headlining her own series.
How many Cat Wilde games are there?
Five: Doom of Dead (2020), Eclipse of the Sun God (2021), Lost Chapter (2022), Pyramids of Dead (2022) and Incan Quest (2024).
Does “Cat Wilde in Merlin’s Map” exist?
The five supplier-listed solo games in this comparison are named above. Merlin titles belong to a separate character family; an unsupported catalogue name is not enough to establish another Cat release.
Is Cat Wilde related to Rich Wilde?
Yes, she’s explicitly his daughter, not a cousin as she’s sometimes loosely described.
Which game has the biggest max win?
The supplier describes up to 10,000x total bet for Pyramids of Dead and up to 10,000x for Incan Quest’s Mega award. Read the exact game’s help before comparing other limits.
What is the RTP of Cat Wilde and the Doom of Dead?
96.29% is the historical reference setting used in this table. Confirm the percentage in the installed game; it is not a guarantee for every operator.
What is the most direct link to Rich Wilde’s own story?
Lost Chapter, in which Cat searches for the missing chapter of the Book of Dead that made her father famous.
Are these slots fair?
Check the casino’s authorisation and the exact game rules. Play’n GO’s supplier identity does not establish every operator’s licence or that all five titles are available.
