Collect-and-win slots: symbols, meters and reset rules

Direct answer: a collect feature transfers defined symbols, values or progress from the grid to a collector or meter. Collection may award an immediate value, build towards a feature or persist only within one bonus. The word “collect” does not define one universal rule.

Collection types to separate

  • Immediate collection: a collector awards eligible values currently visible.
  • Meter collection: symbols add progress towards a defined threshold or modifier.
  • Persistent bonus collection: progress remains only for the stated feature or number of spins.
  • Connection collection: eligible adjacent symbols form a route to an award position.

Verification checklist

Record which symbols qualify, where the collector can land, whether all or only adjacent values count, whether multipliers apply before or after collection, when progress resets, and the exact RTP configuration. Never imply that a nearly full visual meter must trigger soon unless the game rules explicitly define deterministic progress.
