Fat Rabbit Series: Growing Wilds, Drac and Banker Compared

Push Gaming’s Fat Rabbit, Fat Santa, Fat Drac and Fat Banker share a mascot that grows by collecting symbols during free games. The later games add separate prize systems: Drac collects bubbles, while Banker has Fortune Link respins. A growing character, a cash collection and a held-symbol feature change different parts of a round.

Four growing-character games at a glance
Four established growing-character titles compared. Push Gaming labels the figures below as highest observed wins, which must not be silently relabelled theoretical maxima:
| Game | Year | Layout | RTP | Max win |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fat Rabbit | 2018 | 5×5, 50 paylines | 96.45% or 94.15% | 3,844x highest observed win |
| Fat Santa | 2018 | 5×5, 50 paylines | 96.45% or 94.15% | 3,844x highest observed win |
| Fat Drac | 2021 | 5×5, 40 win lines | 96.57% or 94.05% | 50,000x highest observed win |
| Fat Banker | 2022 | 5 reels (6 during Fortune Link) | 96.43% | 25,000x highest observed win |
Push Gaming’s own listings distinguish return settings and highest observed wins. Rabbit and Santa each show 3,844x as an observed figure; Drac shows 50,000x and Banker 25,000x. These labels describe different evidence from a guaranteed theoretical cap. The supplier calls Rabbit high volatility and Santa mid-high, so an unattributed low-volatility label should not drive a session forecast. Read the exact installed return rather than mixing a supplier’s two listed configurations.

Every game, reviewed
1. Fat Rabbit (2018)

Fat Rabbit uses five reels, five rows and fifty lines. A rabbit and carrots can trigger free games, where carrot collection feeds the growth meter and can award more spins. A larger rabbit covers more of the board as a wild, while random Harvest can bring further carrots. The important progression is collected food, meter threshold, growth and the next reel evaluation. A wild footprint is not itself a cash multiplier, and the supplier’s 3,844x observed-win label is not proof of an absolute paytable ceiling.
2. Fat Santa (2018)

Fat Santa keeps the five-by-five, fifty-line arrangement but replaces carrots with pies. Its random Sleigh event can add wilds, and Santa plus pies can open a growing-character free-games feature. The genuine historical reel image shows that larger square layout and the Christmas symbols. It illustrates Santa, rather than pretending to be a screenshot of Rabbit. Push Gaming lists 96.45% or 94.15% and describes mid-high volatility. Shared growth does not mean a carrot trigger or a Harvest modifier can be copied into the Christmas rules.

3. Fat Drac (2021)

Fat Drac changes to forty lines on a five-by-five board and adds a separate bubble system. Drac reveals a paying symbol or a bat; a bat can collect a displayed bubble value. Goblets feed the growth meter during free games, while Fat Bat can collect the bubbles. Its coffin choices can award bats in the base game or spins, goblets and bats in the feature. Keep the character’s wild coverage separate from cash collection: a goblet grows Drac, whereas a bat acts on bubbles. Push Gaming lists 96.57% or 94.05% and high volatility.

4. Fat Banker (2022)

Fat Banker separates a growing-character free-game feature from Fortune Link. Money bags feed the Banker’s growth; bullion and multipliers populate the separate six-reel respin arrangement. Fortune Link begins with two spins, and new bullion or multiplier arrivals reset the counter. Red Car and Gold Car modifiers can add symbols or affect awards according to the current phase. A multiplier in Fortune Link is not simply the size of the Banker on the ordinary reels. The supplier lists 96.43%, high volatility and a 25,000x highest observed win.
Slots like Fat Rabbit that aren’t: the Fat Panda mix-up
A name containing “Fat” is not enough to establish a Push Gaming sequel. Compare publisher, full title and the actual feature. Fat Panda’s mascot theme does not make its rules part of Rabbit’s carrot meter. The shared link here is specifically growth through collection, while Drac and Banker add other prize systems. Push Gaming’s broader catalogue also contains The Great Banker; it needs its own full-title rules rather than being treated as another name for Fat Banker.
Fat Rabbit: quick facts
| Provider | Push Gaming |
|---|---|
| First released | 27 March 2018 |
| Layout | 5 reels × 5 rows, 50 fixed paylines |
| RTP | 96.45% or 94.15% in Push Gaming’s listing |
| Volatility | High in supplier listing |
| Max win | 3,844x highest observed win in supplier listing |
| Signature feature | Carrot collection feeds the rabbit’s growth meter during free games |
Return settings are attributed to the named source or configuration above.
Return settings matter more than a headline ceiling
Theoretical expected loss per £100 wagered at identified upper supplier settings:
| Game | House edge | Per £100 wagered |
|---|---|---|
| Fat Rabbit (96.45%) | 3.55% | £3.55 |
| Fat Drac (96.57%) | 3.43% | £3.43 |
Expected loss is calculated on total wagers, not a prediction for a session.
At 96.45%, £100 × 3.55% gives £3.55 theoretical expected loss; at Rabbit’s listed 94.15% setting it gives £5.85. That £2.30 configuration difference is much larger than the 12p difference between Rabbit’s and Drac’s upper listed returns. Check the installed setting before claiming that one title is cheaper. A growing character or a higher observed payout does not predict session duration. See the Responsible Gambling guide for limits and support.
Growth and collection use different arithmetic
Imagine a wild covering a two-by-two area rather than a single position. It now occupies four symbol positions, but that does not automatically multiply the whole spin’s award by four. The effect depends on which active lines it completes and how the paytable counts them. Likewise, a collected bubble marked 20x is a prize value, while a goblet on Drac’s meter changes progress towards growth. Read the symbol’s role before adding values together.
A staged meter also differs from a cash total. Collecting two items may move a growth indicator without immediately crediting money. The next threshold, the character size and any added feature spins have to be read from that game’s displayed state. A single screenshot can show the current footprint; it cannot establish how many spins the next threshold will take.
Fortune Link: follow the reset counter
Banker’s Fortune Link begins with two respins. If a qualifying new bullion or multiplier arrives, the counter resets according to that feature’s rules. That is a different instruction from being given two extra spins each time: a reset replaces the remaining count, rather than simply adding two to it. A value already held on the board is also different from a newly landed qualifying symbol.
For an illustrative held-symbol board with values of 5x, 10x and 20x, their simple sum is 35x before any qualifying multiplier or collector effect. At a £1 base stake that would be £35 if those values were awarded on that basis. It would be wrong to multiply 5 × 10 × 20 merely because three multipliers are visible. The real help decides which symbol adds a value, which multiplies it and which collects it.
History and legacy
Rabbit and Santa established the food-and-growth structure in 2018. Drac adapted it with goblets and bubble collection in 2021; Banker followed with money bags and Fortune Link in 2022. The changes are different operations around the same growing wild idea. An observed-win figure supplies context about a result in the supplier’s listing, but it cannot demonstrate a smooth progression of theoretical limits across that history.
Why this family still matters
There are four established titles profiled here, not four sequels to Rabbit. Santa is the direct food-collection comparison; Drac and Banker add cash-feature systems that require separate explanations. A larger mascot changes symbol coverage, while a held cash symbol changes a collector or respin state. Those distinctions keep the family comparison useful beyond a list of logos.
Beyond the reels
Push Gaming’s supplier status and the operator’s authorisation are separate matters. The UK Gambling Commission provides public records; a historical distribution or ownership list does not confirm availability at every current casino. Jammin’ Jars is another Push Gaming comparison, with moving jars and clusters rather than a growing mascot.
Choose the collector and growth structure
Choose Rabbit for carrots and the earlier growth structure, Santa for its pie-and-sleigh counterpart, Drac for the distinction between goblets and bubble collectors, or Banker for Fortune Link and its reset counter. These are feature comparisons rather than invented player preferences. The high-volatility labels do not tell you how long a particular balance or bonus will last.
Observed wins and theoretical limits
Push Gaming’s “highest observed win” has a narrower meaning than “largest independently verified player payout” or “theoretical maximum”. At an illustrative £1 stake, 3,844x would be £3,844; the arithmetic alone does not identify a player, date or game configuration. The supplier’s figure should retain its actual label. This guide does not dismiss it as a testing artefact or convert it into proof that no higher theoretical award is possible.
Picking the best Fat-series slot to play first
| If you want… | Play | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The original, purest expanding-mascot format | Fat Rabbit | The game that started the eat-to-grow mechanic |
| A festive reskin of the same idea | Fat Santa | Identical layout, Christmas Pie collectibles instead of carrots |
| Bubble collection alongside growth | Fat Drac | Goblets feed growth; bats collect bubble values |
| A collect-and-multiply respin twist | Fat Banker | Fortune Link respins on top of the expanding-wild core |
Our verdict on Fat Rabbit
Editorial assessment: the family’s useful distinction is how collection changes the board or prize state. Rabbit and Santa grow through food; Drac adds bubble collectors; Banker separates growth from Fortune Link.
| Features | Character footprint, collected cash and respin counters are separate states |
|---|---|
| Win potential | Compare installed return settings and preserve observed-win labels |
| Design | Each mascot has its own food, props and collector presentation |
| Playability | A growing wild does not promise a longer feature or a steadier balance |
Compare the two food-based titles first, then read Drac’s bubble collection and Banker’s Fortune Link as separate additions. Match the exact return setting and the actual award label. The SlotsLike archive provides wider family navigation.
Fat Rabbit FAQs
Who makes Fat Rabbit?
Push Gaming, which holds an active UK Gambling Commission licence.
How many Fat-series games are there?
This guide profiles Fat Rabbit, Fat Santa, Fat Drac and Fat Banker. It does not claim that every later Push Gaming title with a similar name has identical rules, or that a shared adjective establishes a sequel.
Is Fat Panda part of this series?
No, that’s a separate, unrelated Pragmatic Play slot with no connection to Push Gaming’s Fat series.
What is the expanding-mascot mechanic?
Collected carrots, pies, goblets or money bags feed the named character’s growth system. A larger wild footprint affects the reel area; it is distinct from Drac’s bubble collection and Banker’s Fortune Link cash symbols.
Which game has the biggest max win?
Push Gaming lists highest observed wins of 3,844x for Rabbit and Santa, 50,000x for Drac and 25,000x for Banker. That supplier label should not be presented as a proven universal theoretical maximum.
Can you confirm any big wins on Fat Rabbit or its sequels?
The supplier lists observed-win figures, but this guide does not establish an independently sourced largest player result with stake, date and configuration. A return setting and a witnessed payout are different facts.
Are these slots fair?
Check the operator’s authorisation and exact game version. Push Gaming’s identity does not establish every casino’s licence or installed return.
