Red7Mobile legacy games and Scientific Games acquisition

Red7Mobile was a Bristol developer of mobile and desktop casino games, instant-win content and sports applications. Scientific Games announced its acquisition of the company on 10 July 2017 and said Red7’s team would remain at its Bristol location while its content entered the wider Scientific Games network.
Acquisition, parent-company identity and retained game records checked 16 July 2026.

Both games are shown as linked thumbnail cards. Their historical Red7 attribution is retained, but current operator availability and mathematical configurations must be checked in the exact live build.
Action Bank Plus
A retro bank-and-vault-themed game attributed to Red7 and distributed through the wider Scientific Games library. Old directories disagree on some layout and staking details, so use the live help screen.
Pride and Prey
An animal-themed Red7 record with free-spin features in historical listings. No currently playable build was independently confirmed for this developer-page update.
From Red7Mobile to Light & Wonder
The 2017 acquisition announcement described Red7 as a real-money gaming supplier and stated that its portfolio would be merged into Scientific Games’ game library. It also covered the studio’s sports-betting middleware and application work, showing that Red7 was broader than a slot-only label.

Scientific Games announced the Light & Wonder brand on 1 March 2022 and completed the legal corporate-name change later that spring. That explains why newer records may use Light & Wonder even when an older game still carries a Red7 development credit.
How to interpret Red7 game data
Keep the original studio credit
Acquisition does not erase the work of the Bristol team. Historical Red7 attribution remains useful when a game or reliable catalogue supports it.
Identify the current distributor
A modern game lobby may display Scientific Games or Light & Wonder branding. Record the name shown in the current build instead of assuming the old studio is still independent.
Resolve conflicting specifications
External directories sometimes disagree on reels, betways, stake limits or maximum wins. The live help file takes priority over copied summaries.
Check availability title by title
A parent company’s global catalogue does not prove that a legacy title is offered by a UK-licensed casino. Confirm the game and operator separately.
Red7Mobile questions
Is Red7Mobile still independent?
No. Scientific Games acquired Red7Mobile in 2017, and that gaming business now operates under the Light & Wonder identity.
Where was Red7 based?
The acquisition announcement identifies the company as Bristol-based and said its staff would remain in that location.
Are the two listed games currently available in the UK?
This page does not make that claim. Check a UK-licensed operator’s lobby and the exact game information before relying on a legacy listing.

Verification limit: parent-company sources establish the acquisition and name change. Historical catalogues support the two Red7 game credits, but current distribution and per-build mathematics still need live-game evidence.
