Tumble and cascade slots: how sequences work
Direct answer: after a qualifying win, a tumble or cascade removes specified winning symbols, moves existing symbols into the gaps and introduces replacements. The same paid spin can therefore produce several evaluations, but the sequence stops under the rules when no new qualifying win remains.

Tumble, cascade and avalanche terminology
Developers use different brand terms for similar removal-and-refill behaviour. The label alone does not define the pay system: a game may combine tumbles with ways, clusters, paylines or pays-anywhere rules. It may also keep scatters in place, increase a multiplier, expand the grid or end immediately after a non-winning refill.
