How the original Centurion bonus wheel works

The number of BONUS symbols changes the choices on the wheel. Three symbols anywhere on the reels include all four rounds: Prizes on Parade, Road to Rome, Wild Power Spins and Caesars Free Spins. Four remove Prizes on Parade. Five leave Road to Rome and Wild Power Spins.

You spin the wheel to receive a feature; you do not pick whichever round you prefer. The size of a wheel segment should not be read as its exact chance of landing. The game’s rules make that distinction, so counting the visible options does not establish the odds of each bonus.

Prizes on Parade: shields and a collect ending

Three shields carry prizes, arrows and collect positions. A prize adds to the running total, an arrow moves play to the next shield, and a collect pays its attached prize before ending the feature. The shield values multiply the total stake. For example, a combined award of 12x would be £6 on a 50p total bet.

Road to Rome: follow the dice trail

The centurion moves around a board according to the dice, gathering prizes along the way. A dice square adds two rolls. Once a prize or extra rolls have been awarded, that square becomes an arrow; landing there again advances the figure one square.

Rome can be reached at the end of the trail or through a Go to Rome square. Reaching it adds a randomly selected prize to the running total. Watch the rolls remaining as well as the position on the board: distance alone does not tell you how many moves remain.

Caesars Free Spins: two wheels before the reels

One wheel determines the number of free spins and another supplies the multiplier for their wins. These are separate parts of the award. A larger multiplier increases a qualifying win, while more spins give the round more individual results; neither tells you in advance what the final total will be.

Wild Power Spins: three spins across the middle reels

This feature has three spins. Three wilds are placed vertically on reel two for the first, then on reel three for the second, and reel four for the last. Any wins from each stage contribute to the feature total. Follow the highlighted reel through the sequence rather than expecting an open-ended free-spins round.

The random reel modifiers

Four separate effects can appear during ordinary play. Super Bonus Reels adds bonus symbols for a spin. Reelus Maximus introduces a symbol occupying a three-by-three area. That is why a bonus name can look familiar in the demo even though the reel behaviour has changed.

In Megaways free spins, winning cascades increase the multiplier, and the feature can retrigger. The wheel sets the initial free-spins award, but the multiplier can then develop during the round.
