Corrections policy

SlotsLike aims to correct material errors clearly and without hiding the previous mistake. Readers, developers, operators and other affected parties can report a possible error through the contact page.

Effective: 10 July 2026

What to include in a report

Please identify the page, the statement that may be wrong, the reason it should be checked and any primary evidence available. Do not send account passwords, payment information or other sensitive personal data.

How a report is assessed

An editor should compare the published statement with the relevant game help file, developer documentation, official company source or public regulatory record. A commercial request alone is not evidence. If sources conflict, the page should say what remains uncertain rather than choose the most convenient figure.

Material corrections

A visible correction or change-log entry is appropriate when an update affects information such as:

  • RTP configuration;
  • volatility, paytable, bet limits or maximum win;
  • developer identity, ownership or licensing;
  • UK-facing availability;
  • the identity or method of the reviewer;
  • a review score, verdict or comparison conclusion;
  • an affiliate disclosure or safer-gambling statement.

The note should state what changed and the date. Correcting a typo or layout problem normally does not need a public note.

Review dates

The “last reviewed” date changes only when material facts have been checked. A correction that affects the substance of a page should update that date. Site-wide template, styling, tracking or advertisement changes should not manufacture freshness.

Contact

Use the SlotsLike contact page to report an error. Reports should be acknowledged and prioritised according to potential user harm, with gambling-safety, licensing and materially misleading game information handled first.
