Quickspin is an active Swedish game-development studio in the Playtech group. Its official history says the business began in Stockholm in 2011 and was acquired by Playtech in 2016. The studio now presents slots, gamification tools and a separate live-casino vertical, with its Sticky Bandits series, most recently Sticky Bandits Thunder Rail, among its longest-running slot franchises. Its 2021 Egyptian release Book of Duat is the studio’s entry in the book slot format, and Book Of Inferno took the same ten-line shape into a horror setting in 2023. Big Bad Wolf: Pigs of Steel, from November 2023, is the third entry in the studio’s longest-running fairytale line and the only one to bolt protective steel frames onto its tumbling reels. Beastwood, from 2022, is the studio’s monster-hunting ways game and the third outing for the expanding-board maths it first used in Wins Of Fortune.
