About AreaVegas Games
A second studio, not a rebrand
Anton Kuhlmann and Serena Petersen founded SpinPlay Games in 2019 and then set up AreaVegas in 2022. The obvious question is why two studios rather than one bigger one, and the answer visible in the output is that the catalogues barely overlap. SpinPlay concentrates on the Amazing Link and Action Boost lines; AreaVegas took the coin-collect and cash-collect space and has released at a much faster clip. Credits differ title by title, so it is worth reading the game information panel rather than assuming the two names are interchangeable.
Built by maths people
The studio describes its team as mathematicians who worked on land-based Las Vegas machines before moving online, and the games read that way. Area Link Bank Boss and Diamond Rush Express both sit at the high end of the volatility scale with a modest number of paylines and a bonus round carrying nearly all the weight.
